Frequently asked questions…

  • We offer virtual individual therapy for clients located in New York and Connecticut. Sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video platform.

    In addition to individual therapy, we provide:

    • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) (virtual, group, and retreat settings)

    • Couples Therapy

    • Group Therapy

    • Workshops & Retreats (including somatic healing, emotional regulation, and trauma-informed practices)

    Clients must be physically located in New York or Connecticut during sessions, regardless of home address, unless otherwise discussed.

  • Therapy is a dedicated space each week to strengthen your emotional regulation, process life transitions, and build self-awareness. We use somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches to help you understand your emotional patterns and create lasting change.

    You can expect:

    • A safe, guided, and collaborative environment

    • To explore deep emotional patterns and shift the way you experience triggers

    • A process that engages both mind and body to regulate emotions effectively

    • A therapist who respects your pace but also challenges you when needed

    We expect you to show up with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to engage in the work.

  • We encourage a 15-minute consultation before starting therapy to assess fit. In early sessions, reflect on:

    • Do you feel comfortable and safe?

    • Does the therapist’s approach align with your needs?

    • Are you seeing insights or shifts in emotional regulation?

    If something feels off, we encourage open communication to adjust your experience or help you find a better fit.

    What is your Attendance & Cancellation policy?

    • Weekly therapy is recommended for best results, with adjustments as needed

    • Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee (not reimbursable by insurance)

    Therapy requires consistency and commitment—the more you invest, the greater the transformation.

Rates and Insurance

  • We offer sliding-scale rates to increase accessibility.

    Individual Therapy:

    • $250/session with Lead Therapist

    • $200/session with Associate Therapists (Sliding scale: $125-$200)

    Couples & Family Therapy:

    • $250/session (Sliding scale: $175-$250)

    Group Therapy:

    • Rates vary based on group type

  • If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be reimbursed for 60-80% of therapy costs. We provide a Benefits Calculator to estimate your reimbursement.

    If cost is a concern, please reach out—we are happy to discuss sliding-scale options to help make therapy accessible.

  • Whether you have questions about therapy, finding the right therapist match, rates, billing, or out-of-network benefits, our reception team is here to help. We are available by email or phone to guide you.

  • Private pay clients are responsible for full payment after each session.

    Did you know that if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement? Typically insurance companies that offer these benefits will reimburse you for 60-80% of costs. Depending on your benefits this could compare similarly to in-network costs.
